She told me you have this adorable cooking site and I couldn't help but want to take a peek. It is fabulous! I love all of what I see. Your photography and presentation are great and you have so many cute ideas. Bianca says she has so much fun with it and I can see why, and what a great passion to be able to share.

Cheers mate!

PS -I'm not Austrailan, I grew up in Orem and Ben, my husband, works for 4Life over here.Natalie Quehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01453065317873829264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5530856016923015867.post-25479321467266972952008-10-11T10:01:00.000-07:002008-10-11T10:01:00.000-07:00mcquaidgirl, Thank you so much for your sweet comm...mcquaidgirl,

Thank you so much for your sweet comments about my blog. I am so glad that you made your first batch of cupcakes! They are so addicting to bake and everyone loves them. I too had some issues with the throwdown red velvet recipe. It wasn't my favorite, and I agree the best part about them was the frosting. Paula Dean has a really good red velvet cake recipe that I will work on posting in the next little bit, I have never made them into cupcakes but I'm sure they would be great.

I would love to see your baking creations, do you have a blog? And I would love to show you how to frost cupcakes, and I'm sure yours looked great, there really isn't any wrong way to frost a cupcake. I will work on posting a video of me frosting cupcakes. Hope to hear more about your baking trials, errors and successes and if you have any more questions feel free to ask! I look forward to seeing your blog (if you haven't made one, do! They are so much fun and I'd love to see your creations)

-CarlyCarlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02870526042660679136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5530856016923015867.post-8468363961219089852008-10-09T18:28:00.000-07:002008-10-09T18:28:00.000-07:00Hey Carly,Thank you for your site. I came to your ...Hey Carly,

Thank you for your site. I came to your site a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that your passion for baking is contagious.

I love your blog.

I came to this site after seeing a recipe for red velvet cupcakes on food network. It was a throw down with Bobby.

The icing was great. But, I see that you have made a cake of this before? What is the secret?

My cupcakes came out oily and it did not have that sourness taste (i guess from the butter milk)

I don't know if this is the right place to ask so please forgive me. This was the first time I have ever made cupcakes.

Also, do you think one day you can show us how to ice the cupcakes like you do? My cupcakes were so ugly and did not taste so good. I felt like a complete luhser....

Thanks Carly...mcquaidgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09259922535696358734noreply@blogger.com
